The 1970s
A Top Boat Club
In the 1970s SEHBC cemented its position as a top college boat club; with the first VIII maintaining its position in the top half of division one, and reaching 2nd on the river in 1979. Throughout the decade SEHBC consistently boated 6 or 7 men’s crews.
